The good news for Muslim players who play in Newcastle United. Club coach nicknamed The Magpies, Alan Pardew admitted planning to provide mushala Direct Sports Arena stadium.
This plan, approved by Pardew facilitate Muslim players like Papiss Cisse, Demba Ba and Hatem Ben Arfa to worship. All three are known as a devout Muslim.
“This is something I’ve discussed with the club secretary Lee Charnley. I think it’s important. We see the players and their religious background,” said Pardew.
Pardew considers religious plays an important role player for the club nicknamed The Magpies. Therefore, the facilities serve as an important mushala to be facilitated.
“Religion plays an important role for a number of our players. You have to appreciate that some players have a different religion. We need a different facility for them,” he said.
