The baby’s father, Imran Shaikh has been calling for funding for her son’s care. The baby’s mother was recovering from a Caesarean section at their family home in Sukkur, about 450 km from Karachi, Pakistan.
“Operate on baby with this condition is not easy task, there should be a thorough assessment of what to do,” said Dr Jamal Razza from the National Institute of Child Health in Karachi. “We have to find out if this baby memimiliki all twin limb or member of his own body. We also have to determine how many organs are already developed and this could complicate the problem and reduce the chance of this baby to life.”
Chances of this condition may occur less than one in a million.
